Morning Meditation
Guided stillness as the valley wakes.

Sunrise yoga, breathwork, forest walks and a gentle digital detox in the Sangla valley.
There is a kind of quiet you can only find above three thousand metres — a silence so complete it becomes its own presence. Our Yoga Retreat is built around that silence: a few slow days to breathe deeply, move gently, eat well, and let the mountains do what they do best.
Each morning begins before the valley wakes. As the first light finds the peaks, we gather on the terrace for meditation and breathwork, then flow through a practice that meets you where you are — grounding, unhurried, guided. The air is thin and clean; every breath feels like it counts.
Between practices there is space — deliberate, unstructured space. Walk the forest trails. Sit by the Baspa river and do nothing at all. Eat food grown in the valley and cooked with care. Leave your phone in the room; there is nothing here it can improve.
By evening, the pace slows further. A restorative session as the light turns gold, a warm meal by the fire, and the deep, dreamless sleep that only mountain air seems to give. Over a few days, something settles. You arrive tired; you leave restored.
This is not a bootcamp. It is a return — to breath, to stillness, to the simple rhythm of a day lived at the pace of the mountains. Whether you have practised for years or are unrolling a mat for the first time, you are welcome, and you are enough.
We keep our retreats small so the experience stays personal. Our teachers adapt each session to the group, and there is always the option to simply rest. Mindfulness here is not a scheduled hour — it is the whole day, held gently by the landscape around you.
